How a fisherman lives? Do you think he can succeed in life? I want to share with you the story behind the success of our careers. It’s because of a man, a very diligent hard-working man, He’s my father. Like a normal love story, my father courted my mother and married her. Both of them are not coming from a wealthy family, that’s why they really live in hardship but they did not surrender from it easily. Because of a lack of education, they cannot find a high-paying job. They decided to live on a faraway island in Cawag, Subic named “Kinabuksan”. My father's parents first discovered the island, developed and nurtured it. My parents live in a hut at that time, as in when you know the box of groceries, they use it as their bed with dried grass called “kugon” as their roof. My father catches fish to be able to sustain daily expenses, he is a fisherman. We don’t have a boat before that’s why he’s go fishing with others who own a boat, it’s called “pamamasahero ”.
